“Pay What You Can” October • part 1
This last year I decided to do a limited monthlong offer to create portrait’s in Asheville for a “Pay What You Can” sliding scale. It was my way of giving back to my Asheville community. Right now, my Portrait photography in Asheville begins at a price of $750. Let's face it, portrait photography is a luxury. A luxury that some folks, and if I'm being honest, most folks can't afford, no matter how much they desire it.
After launching the offer I was overwhelmed by the response. The month of October was filled in just a few short days. I was humbled and excited beyond words. So many new names and the faces that came with them came rushing in. The month of October was so good on my soul. Hearing one after another say that they had dreamed of making portraits with me but could never afford it. This it what it’s all bout.
